The Marsden Marathon

Going the distance for cancer patients

Could you run 26.2 miles over 26 days this September to support cancer research?

It doesn’t matter if you’re just getting into jogging or a seasoned sprinter. You can complete the distance in your own time, whether that’s a mile a day, all 26.2 in one go, or something in between!

The research we fund is revolutionising treatment and care for patients living with cancer across the UK and around the world. Help us go the distance for cancer patients.

However you complete your Marsden Marathon, you’ll be raising money for research that will help save the lives of cancer patients not just at The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity but around the world.

It’s easy to take part:

  1. Sign up by creating your fundraising page and sharing your story
  2. Run 26.2 miles in 26 days in September and track your distance
  3. Raise money for cancer research by asking your friends and family to sponsor you

You’ll earn virtual badges along the way and, as a token of thanks, we’ll send you a running buff if you raise £50 and a bespoke medal when you reach £250.

We have lots of resources to help you spread the word, and top tips to help you go the distance.

Thank you for going the distance – it really will make a vital difference.
